Our Heritage Association

The Bonneville County Heritage Association (BCHA) began in 2004 when Mary Jane Fritzen gathered a few volunteers, including County Commissioner Dave Radford, and organized the Bonneville County Heritage Association to begin making plans to commemorate the Centennial of February 7, 1911. The year-long Centennial celebration ended in November of 2011. Now, it is our plan to have BCHA continue its voluntary efforts to promote county history and its people.

Our Mission:

The BCHA will serve as a community volunteer group and work with the Museum of Idaho regarding the promotion of the Reading Room and museum activities, and other groups regarding the heritage and history of the county.
